This is the easiest of the par 5s to reach in two. Anywhere in the fairway should leave you an approach of 200-230 yards. This is where the options start.
If you favor the left side of the green, the ball will usually release off the hill into the middle of the green. Just don’t get too far left, as it will leave you with a most difficult chip that will make you wish you had laid up. You are better off in the bunker than high on the hillside left.
If you lay up short of the leftmost fairway bunker, you have a nice angle up the green to the pin and about a 100-yard shot. Long right gives you a shorter shot (50-75 yards) and the hillside provides a nice backstop. Take your pick.
The green is very fast on the front half moving toward the false front. The valley will pull most putts toward the bunker. Back right is an optical illusion and the ball looks like it breaks up hill, but it’s just going down valley which is towards the tenth green.
