TAX ADVANTAGES

If you’re not a Texas resident, you may not know that Texas has no state income tax. Not only do you get more for your money than many other states, but you aren’t taxed on your income either. Lower taxes combined with a favorable regulatory climate for business, moderate housing costs, and a lower cost of living continue to allow Texans to prosper.


Even greater are the tax advantages to living in Kendall County– specifically Cordillera Ranch. In outlying areas like Cordillera Ranch, Kendall County property taxes are approximately 1.7% boasting one of the lowest property tax rates in the state. Many metropolitan areas of Texas approach a tax rate of 3%. Living here affords you the opportunity to save money if purchasing a similar value home, or you can buy more home in Cordillera Ranch for the same taxes that you’re currently paying in your more highly taxed area. In addition to savings on a percentage basis, if your primary home is in Kendall County, you can claim a “Homestead Exemption” that further lowers the taxable value of your home.
